When I started my Virtual Assistant business in June of 2020, I had to find a way to build a client list from nothing - during a pandemic! I realized that I’d need to get familiar with social media and other forms of digital marketing and fast.
I learned as much as I could about marketing by signing up for free masterclasses, picking the brains of fellow solopreneurs and then signing up for courses. The better I got at marketing my business, the more people started reaching out to me asking for support with their marketing.
It didn’t take long to realize that marketing is an inseparable part of running a business - but not everybody is (or wants to be) a marketing expert. That’s when I pivoted my business to offer marketing support, both as done-for-you packages and by offering strategic support and training.
